Hotel during Västerås Cityfestival

Cityfestivalen

Hotel during Västerås Cityfestival

The festival is in the city centre — and so is the hotel. Walk home when you like, instead of waiting for a taxi.

About the festival

One of Sweden''s largest city festivals

Västerås Cityfestival is held every year in late June and is one of Sweden''s largest city festivals. Over three days the city fills with concerts, a funfair, market stalls, food and culture, and hundreds of thousands of visitors move through the centre.

What decides a festival weekend is how far you have to get home. Hotell Arkad is at Östermalmsgatan 25 in the middle of central Västerås — you walk to the stages and back, without planning transport or queuing for a taxi at one in the morning.

The current programme and line-up are on the organiser''s site. We stick to what we can answer: where you sleep, how you get in when the evening runs long, and when breakfast starts the next day.
