Booking terms for Hotell Arkad

A warm welcome to Hotell Arkad. By confirming your booking you accept the terms set out below.

A booking of 5 or more rooms counts as a group booking and is covered by separate terms.

Free cancellation can be made up to 24 hours before arrival.

Cancelling later than 24 hours before arrival is charged at the full cost of the stay.

For bookings made through a specific offer, the cancellation terms stated in that offer apply.

Changes to your booking depend on availability, and the price may be adjusted according to prevailing conditions.

If you booked through a third party, cancellation must be made through them and their terms apply.

The whole group may be cancelled free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival. Cancelling later than that is charged at 50% of the total booking amount.

Individual rooms within the group may be cancelled free of charge up to 2 weeks before arrival. Later cancellation is charged at the cost of the first night.

Meeting rooms may be cancelled free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival. Later cancellation is charged at 50% of the total cost. Changes depend on availability.

Meal requests must be given at least 2 weeks before arrival. Allergies and special diets must be given at least 1 week before arrival. If this information is not provided within those times we cannot guarantee that your requests can be met.

Check-in is possible from 15.00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 12.00 on the day of departure.

The room is held until 23.00. If you expect to arrive later, notify the hotel in advance so the room is not let to another guest.

In the event of a no-show, the full cost of the stay is charged.

If you leave earlier than planned, you are charged for the whole booked period.

Payment is made at check-in unless otherwise agreed.

Advance payment or invoicing can be arranged beforehand.

The hotel reserves the right to require a booking fee or advance payment, which is deducted from the final bill.

Pets are permitted only where the hotel has given its approval in advance. A fee of 300 SEK for the whole stay is charged for dogs.

Smoking is prohibited on hotel premises. Smoking in prohibited areas is treated as damage and a fee of 10,000 SEK will be charged to your card.

In the event of a breach of our rules on pets and smoking, or other damage, a fee is charged and you may be asked to leave the hotel immediately.

The hotel is not liable for items left in the room or in other areas, unless negligence on the hotel's part can be shown.

If we cannot provide the room agreed, you are entitled to an equivalent or better room within the hotel, or at a hotel of the same standard, at no extra cost.

Any defects in the room must be reported to reception within one hour of check-in. The hotel is not liable for defects not reported within that time. Any compensation is assessed on the circumstances.

Hotell Arkad may cancel a booking without liability for compensation in circumstances such as strikes, pandemics, fires, war or other events beyond our control.
